Privacy Policy

VitalDay is designed to respect your privacy. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking of any kind. The app is entirely free of trackers.

What is stored

Everything you enter — medication names, doses, schedule times, water and movement progress, caregiver contacts, accessibility preferences, and 30 days of completion history — is saved only on your device using Apple's local storage (UserDefaults). It is not uploaded to any server.

What we don't collect

• No account, login, or email is required.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data are accessed.
• No advertising or analytics identifiers are read.
• No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Notifications

If you allow them, VitalDay schedules local notifications on your device for medication reminders and the optional evening summary. Notifications are generated entirely on-device by iOS.

Sharing with your care team

When you tap "Send Today's Update" or share from the History tab, iOS opens the Messages or share sheet with a pre-written summary. You choose whether to send it. VitalDay never sends messages on its own.

Children

VitalDay is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your control

To delete all data, remove the app from your device. Reinstalling starts you with a clean slate.
