FAQ

My medication reminder didn't go off. What happened?

VitalDay uses iOS local notifications. They can be silenced by Do Not Disturb, a Focus mode, silent ringer, low-power mode, or notifications being turned off in iOS Settings. Open Settings → Notifications → VitalDay and make sure Allow Notifications, Sounds, and Banners are on.

Treat reminders as a helpful prompt, not a guarantee. Keep a backup like a weekly pillbox.

Does VitalDay call 911?
No. The Emergency Contact button calls a person you add (a family member, neighbor, or caregiver). In a real emergency, dial 911 or your local emergency number directly.
Where is my data stored?

Only on your device, using Apple's local storage. We have no servers and we never see your data. There are no accounts, no logins, no analytics, and no ads.

How do I add or edit a medication?

Tap the gear or "Setup" tab → Medications. Tap a medication to edit name, dose, time, and which days of the week it repeats. Tap the trash icon to remove it.

Can I change my hydration goal?

Yes — go to Setup → Hydration and set the number of glasses per day.

How do I share my day with a family member?

From the Today tab, tap Send Today's Update. iOS will open Messages with a pre-written summary. You choose whether to send. From History, the share button can send a 7- or 30-day summary.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete the app from your iPhone. All VitalDay data is removed with it. Reinstalling starts you with a clean slate.

What iPhones and iOS versions are supported?

VitalDay supports iPhone running iOS 18 or later.

Is VitalDay free?

Yes. There are no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases at this time.

I have a feature request.

Wonderful — please email us. Real user requests shape the roadmap.
